Lung Gold - Lower Respiratory Tract Support for Cats

Our 16 1/2 yr old kitty, Tuck, developed asthma last year and we have been trying to control it with prednisone for cats but just wasn’t doing the job. A friend told us about Pet Wellbeing Lung Gold and decided to give it a try. It has helped him so much. The wheezing isn’t totally gone but we’ve only been on it for 2-3 weeks and had to start at a small dose because he is a very picky kitty. Got to the full dose now and that has been about a week so looking forward to seeing if it helps even more. So happy and satisfied with the results thus far.

Unfortunately, I will never be using this again after falling for what I read online. My cat has been normally fine and I got this to relieve some sneezing/coughing symptoms. It was a nightmare to give to her as the bacon flavour did not make any difference to her. I therefore placed some in her cat bowl. She didn’t take it but when I washed her cat bowl out the drops stained it like a dye would and the marks won’t come off. It concerns me that I gave something that stained a bowl to my cat. I gave my cat 3 drops in her mouth after she refused from the bowl. Literally this morning her meow was weak and the only thing different I’ve done is use this.

There is no way I’ll be risking giving her anymore of this as I’m sure after stopping she’ll be back to her normal self. Otherwise I will see the vets for a second opinion on my normally well cat.

I have tried to contact customer services as this product does come with a guarantee but the email just bounced back even though I clicked the link from the website. Below is a picture of the stain it left in her cat bowl even after washing - quite scary it can stain that bad.

Lung Gold does seem to alleviate my cat’s asthma somewhat. His heaving and coughing hasn’t gone away, but it does seem to be a little less frequent. At first he seemed to like the taste, but now he’s begun backing away from his food when the drops are in it. I have to really mix it in well. He panics if I try and give directly into his mouth. Since my veterinarian has said he can no longer have steroid injections, Lung Gold is the only option with any sort of success.

My cats were experiencing something respiratory 2 of the 4 had some digestive issues with it also. Whether it was caused from a new rescue, or it was smoke from the woodstove affecting all of them they each showed signs of improvement immediately after administering the long gold, slippery elm and previously purchased throat gold.

My cat stronglydislikes the Bacon flavor. It’d be nice to be able to choose between Bacon or Salmon flavors. Salmon is a favorite!

Whatever the ingredients do- they do something tangible. This might well clear up any coughs or congestion. If it doesn’t within a week-10 days- you know it’s time for a vets appointment. I’ve given this a few drops a day in my cats wet food and it’s been received well!

I bought the lung remedy to help our cat who has FIV and always seems to have a wheezing cough. I mix the drops in his wet food and it’s eaten every time. We noticed that his breathing got slightly better but he still has attacks of the coughs even now. We’ll continue with the drops as I feel it’ll eventually help his breathing.

I have noticed a significant improvement in my cat's respiratory health after using Pet Wellbeing's Lung Gold tincture. Prior to finding this product my cat was being put on antibiotics way too often and had been prescribed a puffer that only seemed to be making things worse. ONE KEY DETAIL to consider: Rascal's acceptance/love of wet food was key to the drops' success. Various foods worked when mixed with 1-2 tablespoons of Trader Joe's hot bone broth (beef or chicken), or of water left over from boiling fish. The best food without doubt was Royal Canin AGING loaf. It's mostly pork, so the bacon-flavored drops must have absorbed well into that flavor and smooth texture.

I bought this for my Sphinx as he has upper respiratory infections and do far the vets have been useless at providing long-term treatment. So after searching online,I found this item and based on reviews, decided to give it ago. It's been 5 weeks and I wish I had purchased this sooner. It's like a miracle for my boy, yes he still coughs once a day but he's issues have minimised, it's not as bad and he's cough doesn't last long either. It's the best month he's had since he got I'll . I will continue to give this to him, it stops the cough, and when he does cough it's not as dramatic as before. I used Lung Gold and Throat Gold on my cat. She was having labored breathing and what sounded like restriction in her throat. Xrays showed inflammation in throat and lower lungs. She is only 6yo and they wanted me to use prednisone cream on her. Decided to try holistic first and glad I did. It took some figuring out how to get it in her but when I did I noticed a difference in less than a week. I continue to give it to her. My cat Sam was diagnosed with a lung disease and was told he could go at any time. We went home with antibiotics and steroids with little improvement after his 2 week follow up.
