Happy dog mom

After reading a few good reviews, I decided to give it a try—and overall, it's been a pretty positive experience. Within a few days of consistent use (about 30–45 minutes before bedtime), I noticed my dog settling down much more easily at night. SHe no longer paces or whines in the early hours, which used to be a big issue. I’d say it helped improve both his sleep and mine. I ended up mixing it into a soft treat or his food, and that worked perfectly
No noticeable side effects so far no grogginess or changes in appetite. I was a bit worried about that since he's older, but he’s been doing well on it.
The bottle is small (2 oz) and a bit pricey for how quickly you go through it if you’re using it daily.
If your dog struggles with sleep or anxiety, especially at night, this is definitely worth trying. Just be sure to check with your vet first. It’s not a miracle fix, but it’s made a noticeable difference for us.

Pet Melatonin - for Healthy Sleep Patterns

I was given this product in exchange for my honest review. Preston is a 4 year old rescue red mini poodle. Prestons coat is really important to me so this product helps promote a healthy coat and hair growth which I love. Pet melatonin Helps maintain normal sleep patterns, I noticed Preston was relaxed after I gave him the suggested dose. Great product, and it was easy to give to my pup.

SAFE, SIMPLE, AND EFFECTIVE

I was hesitant to use the product at first and have explored other "sleep" medications for my active Australian Shepherd, and this worked really well. I monitored my dog's symptoms after taking it and felt as though it helped to support a better sleep (he is usually up and down off the bed moving a lot) and this helps him maintain a healthy active lifestyle as he continues to age. This product also promotes a healthy sleep schedule which is important for dogs!

Great

This product has worked really well for my dog! I started using it to help support more consistent sleep, especially during times when my dog seemed restless at night. Since starting the melatonin, he’s been sleeping more calmly and waking up more relaxed.

It’s easy to give and my dog has no problem taking it. I love that it’s made with natural ingredients and formulated just for dogs. Overall, it’s been a great addition to our routine and I definitely recommend it for dogs that need a little help winding down at night. I was given this product in exchange for my honest review.

Melatonin is helping my anxious young dog.

My young adult dog was very emotionally balanced until about 18 months ago. At that time I had a heart attack and he developed something like PTSD! And that turned into separation anxiety. He also became a bit restless during the day, although he receives plenty of exercise and socializing. I started with the full dose of melatonin for his weight. I Gave him a full dose in the morning with his breakfast and a full dose in the evening with his dinner. He didn't mind the taste at all. I actually tasted it myself and it smells and tastes quite mild. (Actually better than my own melatonin pills.) By the second day my boy was no longer quietly whining in the early hours of the morning hoping to get me up. Within a week he was seeming like his old balanced self during the day at home. I like that melatonin has not changed his activity level or his personality. It doesn't seem to make him drowsy during the day, yet if I place him in his kennel to keep him safe when I clean or work on crafts, he's fine and takes a nap for an hour without complaining. He also has stopped following me everywhere in the house. That said, his panic and anxiety attacks still occur whenever I prepare to leave the home or walk out the door. I learned from my vet that these anxiety attacks produce extra cortisol in the body, and it takes 3 to 4 days for the Access cortisol to get back to normal. With my boy, He is left alone three or four times a week, and that meant his cortisol was staying too high. This causes symptoms of anxiety and this is why he developed ulcers. I tried calming care drops along with the melatonin, and I believe if I had been able to get him up to the full dose twice daily, it would have resolved his anxiety and panic attacks. I got up to half dose with the calming care and I could notice a really good difference within 10 days. But not enough. However I was unable to get him up to the full dose. I He really hates the taste of anything I've tried that contains Ashwagandha. How I wish I could find a way to get it into him without fighting him. That is an important herb in a blend for Chronic anxiety and it made all the difference in my last dog who had Anxiety due to Cushing's disease.
I appreciate having had the opportunity to try calming care and I would strongly encourage anyone with a very anxious dog to try both melatonin and calming care together. Give it at least a few weeks because it does take time; it's so well worth giving it a chance! I will continue using the melatonin since it helps him quite a bit. I will continue my search for a blend of herbs that address anxiety, but perhaps without the ashwagandha.
Thank you Pet well-being, for honoring your guarantee and for your continued support.

Huge Help with Adrenal Harmony

Our poor rescue dog had severe trauma, probable abuse and abandoned trauma. She has been checked for every possible condition and her thyroid treatment helped with some issues, but we had to resort to anxiety RX for the extreme anxiety and stress. Although, the meds aided a bit her excessive thirst, Inability to relax or calm was still causing incontinence at night and that was with every 2hr outdoor trips. We were exhausted and at wits end. Ran across this treatment and although she didn't fit the standard treatment for the 3pk treatment, we did read a great review from another customer who described similar issues and relief from using Adrenal Harmony and Melatonin and thought let's give it a shot, nothing to loose. So after 2 weeks we were down to every 4hrs on bathroom trips at night and a huge reduction in thirst. After 4 weeks we had 1 trip out at night and rare carpet pee issues vs all the time. We have been on treatment for 7 weeks and she is now able to go outside and instead of pacing yard & getting overly stressed by neighbors pets, she would pace once then lay down relaxed and soothed...that was a miracle!! She had such a sad tragic start to her life and then within 2 years of adoption a move. Let's just say the move made things so much worse and even with a happy home, another dog (we call her brother her anti-anxiety dog ha) and more attention and exercise she just couldn't relax. She has been in our new place over 8 months when we started meds (Adrenal Harmony, Melatonin and the Mushroom chews) and she is so much more able to relax. So happy to finally have a positive outcome. I won't lie we have not yet been able to discontinue the anxiety RX but we may be able to get there eventually!!!

Great training aid!

I first began using this melatonin for my sweet dog who developed Cushing's. She had an autoimmune disorder and the steroids she received her entire life caused multiple negative side effects. The safest and most effective product I could use to reduce her Cushing's-related anxiety was this melatonin. Melatonin decreases the cortisol in the body, and this helped keep her comfortable in the last year of her life.
I now have a 4 year-old terrier who exhibits considerable anxiety when left alone. He is also overreactive to visitors and outside noises. (This is not due to his having an anxious make up; it is solely due to limits in his activity and exposure to others. This is because of my own disability. ) I tried using the calming herbs for him, but western herbs affect blood clotting, and cause my dog to poop out lakes of blood even before he reaches the full dosage. Trazodone and some medications affect blood clotting in the same way. CBD oil has a lesser effect on blood clotting, and with daily use once per day did cause some bleeding in his stool.
Melatonin has yet to show any negative side effects and I am able to use it effectively for my boy at least three days per week. It relaxes him enough that he does not react when he knows I'm preparing to leave him. He's also much less exuberant when visitors come, and he is so much easier to teach and control outside on leash.
I'm hoping not to need melatonin very long-term, but it has been a great help in enabling my boy to focus on his obedience training, which he did not receive when he was a puppy. What I most appreciate about pet well-being form of melatonin is that it doesn't come in a treat that contains herbs or other products I would prefer not to give my dog. It seems to work faster and better than the treat-based melatonins and does not affect his sensitive tummy! I mix it in a very small amount of food or I drip the melatonin into a capsule and feed it immediately, wrapped in deli meat or cream cheese, etc. It starts working on him within 30 to 45 minutes. I have recommended this product to a couple of friends whose rescue dogs have continuous anxiety. They use it twice daily to keep their dogs content. Melatonin can be a wonderful training aid for an anxious pup! I'm very happy with this product and recommend it to any pet parent.

Unfortunately the melatonin didn't work

I was hoping that melatonin will help my senior dog with " sunset syndrome" to relax and sleep through the night, but unfortunately it has not helped. Great service, though!

Perfect for restless dogs

We have been using this melatonin for our4 year old golden. He doesn’t like to settle at night so he is often up and roaming around the house at night. We started using the melatonin at dinner and noticed that he was able to settle into our routine easier. We have cameras around the house and have noticed that he is not roaming as frequently at night, and is able to settle faster when he does!

Helped my dog fall asleep!

I was given this product in exchange for my honest review. My dog is very skittish and nervous, particularly when members of my family are out of town. This is a perfect product to use when we go on vacations, since it helps calm down my dog and ensures that she still sleeps at night. I add a drop or two to her food, which seems to do the trick. I highly recommend!

Lifesaver for my active dog!

I’ve never heard of melatonin for animals, so this was such a nice surprise finding this product! My dog is very active and never quite settles down fully. This was super easy to quickly put in his mouth and wow does it work! He really does mellow out for the night after taking this. I was given this product in exchange for my honest review.

Great gentle, natural option!

I was given this product in exchange for my honest review. Jaxson is my 2-year-old Australian Shepherd, and while he’s usually full of energy during the day, settling down at night has always been a bit of a struggle for him. We’ve been trying the Pet Melatonin for about 10 days now, and I’m really happy with how it’s been going so far.

The liquid format makes it super easy to give him the right amount, no pills to hide or wrestle with. He doesn’t seem to mind the taste either, which is a win. Since we started using it, I’ve noticed he seems to wind down more easily at night and sleeps more soundly. It really seems to support a healthy nighttime routine for him, which has made our evenings a lot more peaceful.

Love that this is a gentle, natural option we can feel good about giving him. Excited to keep this in his routine!

Game Changer for my over excited Puppy!

I was given this product in exchange for my honest review. I started using Pet Wellbeing’s Pet Melatonin for my 1-year-old black-furred pup, Trio, who often struggled with settling down at night. This supplement has been a game-changer. Within about 30 minutes of administering the recommended dose, Trio becomes noticeably calmer and more relaxed. The bacon flavor makes it easy to mix with his food, and he seems to enjoy it. I appreciate that it’s a liquid form, allowing for precise dosing. Since starting this supplement, Trio’s sleep patterns have improved significantly, and he wakes up more refreshed. It’s comforting to know that this product is made specifically for pets, ensuring safety and quality. I highly recommend it to other pet owners dealing with similar issues.

Works Well

I was given this product in exchange for my honest review. I have two hyper dogs who don’t always know how to end the party. Haha ! Keeps things interesting for sure, but sometimes I need them in a calmer state. I tried this Pet Melatonin and it works like a charm. They seem more relaxed and the house is quiet in the evenings so I’m happy. Definitely worth trying.

Not for us!

I was given this product in exchange for my honest review.

I tried this melatonin supplement hoping it would help Theo, my 5-year-old toy poodle, who gets anxious at night and has trouble settling down. I loved the idea of giving him something natural to support healthy sleep patterns—but sadly, it just didn’t work for us.

We gave it a try twice, and both times it seemed to upset his stomach. He’s already a bit sensitive when it comes to food and supplements, so after the second try, we decided to stop using it.

Every pup is different—what doesn’t work for one might be perfect for another. If your dog struggles with nighttime anxiety, this could still be worth exploring with your vet. Just be sure to follow label directions and monitor how your dog responds.
