Barbara’s neighbour in central Connecticut finds a lot of comfort and joy in spending time with his two cats. The sweet two kitties are close companions and are like family to this man who is blind and disabled. Last year, Bennie, a beautiful grey tabby, became very ill. He lost a lot of weight and his hair fell out; and an inevitable vet visit revealed he had cat diabetes.

Sadly, Bennie would require daily insulin shots.
