What is Young at Heart?

Young at Heart is a gentle, holistic formula developed with a blend of seven carefully selected herbs. Veterinarian-formulated, this high-quality liquid supplement is designed to support your dog’s cardiovascular system, helping to maintain the health of the heart muscle, valves, and circulatory system. It can be safely used by dogs of all ages as part of their daily routine, offering reliable, everyday support for overall heart health.

What is Young at Heart used for?

Young at Heart is designed to support your dog’s entire cardiovascular system, helping promote normal heart muscle strength, healthy valves, and regular blood circulation. This gentle formula also supports healthy heart rhythm and normal blood pressure, providing comprehensive care for your dog’s heart.

The heart is a complex organ, made up of muscle tissue and chambers that work together to pump blood efficiently. As your dog ages, or if they belong to a breed that may benefit from holistic support, maintaining the muscular integrity of the heart and the proper function of the valves becomes especially important. Young at Heart uses the power of nature to offer daily support to support your dog’s heart function at every life stage.

It is recommended to consult with your veterinarian if your dog is taking heart medication.

What is Kidney Support Gold?

Kidney Support Gold is a thoughtfully designed formula that combines gentle yet powerful herbal ingredients, carefully selected by holistic veterinarians to support your dog’s kidney (renal) health. Each ingredient is scientifically researched for its ability to help maintain normal kidney function, making it an essential part of your dog’s long-term health regimen, especially as they age.

The herbs in Kidney Support Gold are known for their 'tonic' actions, which means they help promote vitality and nourish the body in a way that’s easily absorbed. This blend is formulated to support your dog's overall well-being, offering the holistic care needed to keep them comfortable and healthy throughout their life.

What is Kidney Support Gold Used For?

Kidney Support Gold is specifically formulated for long-term support of normal renal function in dogs. This unique blend of herbs, rooted in traditional Asian medicine and backed by modern research, helps maintain your dog’s kidney health by:

• Supporting normal urination and thirst to help promote healthy hydration.

• Helping maintain a normal appetite and stable weight for sustained energy and vitality.

• Supporting healthy fluid and electrolyte balance.

• Helping promote normal levels of blood urea and creatinine, which are natural by-products filtered by the kidneys.

• Supporting healthy immune function to help the body's natural immune defenses.

In addition to these benefits, Kidney Support Gold also helps maintain your dog’s general vitality, providing antioxidant support and helping promote healthy cellular function. Adequate hydration is key to kidney health, so ensuring your dog has access to fresh water at all times is important. Young at Heart is formulated with:

• Hawthorn berry, buds, and leaf (Crataegus spp.): This herb is a member of the Rose family, known for its antioxidant-rich berries, flower buds, and leaves. Traditionally valued for its wellness benefits, Hawthorn contains antioxidant flavonoids, including OPCs, similar to those found in grapes, which help combat free radical damage. This herb is commonly used in herbal medicine to support the heart and cardiovascular system, helping promote normal heart muscle function, healthy heart rhythm, and balanced circulation.
• Motherwort herb (Leonurus cardiaca): Motherwort is traditionally used to support heart health but is also known for its ability to support a sense of calm. This herb also helps promote healthy circulation, supports the heart's electrical impulses, and helps maintain normal blood pressure. Motherwort’s dual action makes it valuable for both cardiovascular and nervous system support.
• Nettle herb (Urtica dioica): Nettle supports the body's normal ability to excrete fluid through the kidneys. It is also rich in minerals that help maintain a healthy cardiovascular system, including calcium and potassium.
• Fo-ti root (Polygonum multiflorum): Fo-ti root has a long history in Traditional Chinese Medicine, traditionally associated with youthfulness and vitality. Today, it is valued for its supportive role in heart health, helping to maintain healthy blood vessels and normal lipid levels in the blood.
• Schisandra fruit (Schisandra chinensis): Widely used in traditional Eastern medicine, the berries of the woody Schisandra plant are antioxidant-rich and offer support to multiple body systems. They help promote a healthy immune response, support liver function, and contribute to cardiovascular health, including helping maintain healthy blood pressure levels.
• Gotu kola herb (Centella asiatica): A staple in both Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, Gotu Kola is renowned for supporting healthy blood flow and the circulatory system. This herb is often used to help promote circulation to the extremities. It is important to note that Gotu Kola should not be confused with Kola Nut, which contains caffeine.
• Ginger rhizome (Zingiber officinale): In small amounts, Ginger is used in this formula to holistically support healthy circulation and help promote overall cardiovascular function.
