Time flies when you’re busy being a good girl. It feels like just yesterday Maple was a tiny, tumbling espresso bean of a puppy—and today, she is officially hitting the big One-Year milestone!
Maple belongs to Tylor, our wonderful e-Care and Wholesale Coordinator. While Tylor is busy supporting our retail partners and helping pet parents online, Maple has been busy living her absolute best life. To celebrate our favorite Chocolate Lab turning one, we’re looking back at her jam-packed first year of life, friendship, and absolute brilliance.
The Sweetest Household Crew
Maple spent her first year surrounded by love and great friends. She is joined at home by her feline sister, Bubba. While Bubba the cat was not initially impressed with her new canine roommate, the two have spent the last year becoming certified best friends. Maple also loves spending time with her puppy bestie, a Golden Lab named Ryder.
The Smartest Girl in the Room (Literally)
Maple isn't just a pretty face; she is scary smart. She officially graduated from Bow Wow Academy training school this year!
On top of her stellar school marks, she’s also putting human toddlers to shame with her language skills. Maple is fully bilingual! She effortlessly understands and responds to commands in both English and Filipino.
Cabin Vibes & Fetch Obsession
When she’s not flexing her language skills, Maple lives for adventure. She got to experience her first major cabin vacation this year, proving she is an absolute natural at lakeside lounging.
But no matter where she is, her absolute favorite thing in the world is a game of fetch. If Maple had a full-time job, it would be retrieving tennis balls, and she will happily play until her humans’ arms fall off.
Happy Birthday, Maple!
We are so incredibly lucky to have sweet, brilliant dogs like Maple in our extended Pet Wellbeing family. If you want to follow along on her daily adventures, you can find her on Instagram at @maple.dip.chocolate.
She reminds us every day why we do what we do—because pets aren't just animals, they're family.
