What is Throat Gold?

Many of the herbs used in Throat Gold are classified as "demulcents," which are rich in mucilage—a plant substance that supports the normal function and health of throat tissue and the upper respiratory system.

Throat Gold helps support occasional cough discomfort in your dog's throat and may help calm occasional hoarseness associated with seasonal changes. Dogs exposed to environments with poor ventilation, stress during travel, or environmental stressors such as smoke, may benefit from the supportive effects of Throat Gold on immune health and the upper respiratory tract. It is also ideal for maintaining a healthy immune system if your dog is around other animals outside or experiences social settings.

Directions for Use:

Administer product twice daily. Can be given during or after mealtime.

• 10 lb and under: 0.5 ml
  
• 11 - 20 lb: 0.75 ml
  
• 21 - 40 lb: 1.5 ml
  
• 41 - 60 lb: 2.25 ml
  
• 61 - 80 lb: 3.0 ml
  
• 81 - 100 lb: 3.75 ml
  
• Over 100 lb: 4.5 ml
  

Shake well before use. Does not require refrigeration.

Cautions

• If animal's condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian. 
  
• Not to be used during pregnancy. 
  
• Administer during or after the animal has eaten to reduce incidence of gastrointestinal upset. 
  
• An examination from a veterinarian is recommended prior to using this product. 
  
• Absorption of drugs taken simultaneously may be delayed.

Throat Gold is formulated with:

• Slippery Elm bark (Ulmus fulva): Slippery Elm tree bark is rich in mucilage, a component known for its natural properties that support the maintenance of mucous membranes in the respiratory tract. This can contribute to normal throat comfort, particularly useful in maintaining upper respiratory wellbeing.
• Mullein leaf (Verbascum spp.): Mullein leaves are known for their mucilage content, which supports the normal condition of mucous membranes. This helps maintain throat comfort and contributes to overall upper respiratory wellness.
• Usnea thallus (Usnea spp.): Also called "Old Man's Beard", Usnea supports healthy immune responses, especially for the throat tissues.
• Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra): One of the most widely used herbs, Licorice root's demulcent properties support the maintenance of throat tissues.
