Ashwagandha - for Calm, Adrenal & Vitality Support in Dogs

What is Ashwagandha?

Every dog has moments that catch them off guard - the vacuum switching on, a car ride to the vet, fireworks a few streets over, or just the everyday hum of a busy house. Ashwagandha is one of the most well-studied adaptogenic herbs in traditional herbal practice - an herb that supports the body's stress response rather than sedating it. Pet Wellbeing's Ashwagandha brings this single-herb tradition to dogs in a clean, alcohol-free glycerin liquid, formulated by our holistic veterinarians and master herbalists.

What is Ashwagandha used for?

The single active ingredient, organic fresh Ashwagandha root, contains withanolides - naturally occurring compounds studied for their role in supporting the body's normal response to everyday stress and healthy adrenal gland function. As an adaptogen, Ashwagandha is traditionally used to help the body maintain balance during stress rather than sedating it; its calming properties have been studied in published animal research.

Beyond calm, Ashwagandha helps maintain your dog's normal physical vitality and stamina, and promotes a healthy, balanced immune system - a foundational daily support for dogs navigating everyday environmental stress, from thunderstorms and car rides to new routines and busy households.
